Ironbound Rucking Events Are Here
Forged Under Pressure gets literal here. Ironbound is now organizing in-person rucking events — real miles, real weight on your back, and the Tribe training together instead of just following along on a screen.
What to expect
A rucking event is exactly what it sounds like: a weighted march, covered on foot, at a pace the group can sustain. No leaderboard, no cutoff time that punishes you for showing up. The weight and the distance are the challenge — not who finishes first.
- **Weighted ruck.** Bring a loaded rucksack; guidance on starting weight is shared ahead of each event.
- **All levels welcome.** You don't need a military or competitive background to join. You need the willingness to put in the miles.
- **More dates being added as we grow.** This starts small and expands as the Tribe grows with it.
Why Ironbound is doing this
Most of what the Tribe does happens online — training content, BTA challenges, interviews. Rucking events are the one thing that only works in person. It's the Tribe out in the field, not just on a screen, and it's the clearest expression of what "Forged Under Pressure" actually means: pressure you can feel, on your own back, next to people doing the same thing.
If you're new to rucking altogether, start with our beginner's guide to rucking before your first event — it covers gear, starting weight, and the mistakes most people make in their first few sessions.
